I know what it is like, could be hacking ??
We can see what a good job is being made to delete the posts as quickly as possible

It's a spam IP that has a real person behind it. It has been removed and we're implementing the 3 posts for new people before they're approved to prevent it. A few members complained about the posts required before approval - it isn't necessary but this happens when it is switched off!

Worse case of spamming/hacking I have ever seen

Years ago when email spamming was the "in thing" I had a short time when I was receiving around 1000 spams a day - I kid you not. Fortunately some kind people had written filtering software which helped us prevent this happening, and now email servers use software which generally does this for us.
