Thanks for your replies yes i am quite chuffed i cant quite believe it !! i didnt think i had that much willpower i do still treat myself now and again i cant resist a freddy frog bar every couple of weeks :lol: but i have totally changed my way of eating i used to have the most enormous pile of mash on my plate in fact it was big piles of everything i always seemed to be hungry and never had my head out of the fridge now i only eat small amounts and hardley ever feel hungry i now make all my meals from scratch no frozen ready meals at all loads of veg, only one slice of bread a day only have potatoes maybe once a month and only boiled new ones i bought lots of books, about low carbing and diabetic receipes , i started off very low carbing for about 5 months but now i have introduced a few more carbs i find i can eat half of a warburtons soft brown round pitta stuffed with chicken and loads of salad and get good bg results so i have one of those evry day for lunch at work, i really dont want to go on meds or at least stay off them for as long as i can , i have my bad days like everyone else but i just get up the next day and give myself a good talking to
