An irrational hatred of Tottenham Hotspurs ;)
Went out for dinner today with some friends, have a bit of a stuffed up nose so couldn't really taste anything, accidentally drank a pint of pepsi as opposed to pepsi max, checked my sugars was fine 5.4, checked an hour after, it was 5.8 fine, checked just now 5.1.

Surely I should of at least expected some sort of spike.

Are you sure it was the sugary Pepsi and not the diet one?

Pubs are not to fussy as to which one they serve and unless you test it how would you know?

My friend pointed it out when he had a sip, and he won't drink diet pepsi, I thought it tasted odd as well.

Recently went on an All Inclusive break in Tenerife, I am usually back in the 5's after 2 hours, but one afternoon, I was convinced I had drunk a sweet cola, so I did a 2 hour test. My reading was in the 9's!! Bars are always busy in the AI hotels, so now make sure I watch the barman select the diet cola.

All the best - Steve

Alas she is at work and I didn't wish too bother her. I just found this rather strange, as anyone would.
I imagine she will say it was diet pepsi and that I was mistaken.

Probably a fuss about nothing, I do fine it odd though - as no doubt she will.

Seeing my GP Friday might mention it too him as I would expect a considerable spike in my levels normally if id accidentally drunk a pint of full sugar pepsi.

I was actually panicking a bit at the restaurant but my levels calmed me down.
