It was communion yesterday, but Pastor had not realised that 14th was the second Sunday ...

As a result the bread served was delicious crusty French stick ..... :D

Off topic:
Some of the parents stay at our children's club, & they have found I am the man to beat, so they ambushed me after the service. I won 4-0 against men 30 years younger.

32 years ago when I turned 40, I told my children I would admit to being middle aged when they could beat me at table tennis...

BUT - twice recently I have gone to Tescos for milk & bread;
twice I have remembered the bread while actually in the shop;
& twice I have not bought bread.

No, I am not absent minded - I remembered a lot of other things I wasn't asked to buy.

I miss that crusty French bread as well !

If you think your memory is failing and you are on statins google statins side effects ! My memory went while I was taking simvastatin - my GP was highly sceptical but swapped me to Rosuvastatin (Crestor) to humour me - and my memory returned.

Mind you 18 months later I was plagued with insomnia, joint and back pains and hair loss (but great cholesterol numbers) and have now stopped taking statins altogether. These statins can have nasty side effects - despite what your medics tell you.
