People whose attitude says "Me, my opinion, my desire is greater and more important than anyone else"
And to whom the principle of ahimsa is a closed book that they refuse to open because it would make life more difficult for them.
These came from Sam Turnbull's site https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/recipes/
Sweet & Smoky Marinade BBQ special
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tbs maple or agave syrup
2 tbs soy sauce
1 or 2 teaspoons of liquid smoke (depending on how strong your liquid smoke is)
Half tsp garlic powder
Half tsp chilli - I use smoky paprika as I'm allergic to chilli
Mix up together - soak your food in it, brush it on while cooking. Last night we chucked it in the sauce we made to go with the mushroom & seitan stroganoff, which I suppose means it wasn't strictly a stroganoff (but it was delicious)
Italian - goes wonderfully with salady stuff, or things being served with asparagus.
2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs lemon juice or white wine vinegar
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
Black pepper to suit yourself
Mexican BBQ
2 tbs lime juice
2 tbs light oil
1 tbs agave syrup
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Half tsp garlic powder
Incidentally, if you don't have any, I can't recommend the liquid smoke strongly enough. Adds a powerful kick of flavour to everything it goes near. I got mine on Amazon but its in supermarkets.
