A huge THANKYOU to all who know me on here as a poster.
I've had a fantastic 2hr consultation with my diabetes specialist and his team. Seeing dn there next month but not seeing consultant for 6mths. He joked and said he could discharge me. I got excited.
Then he said he will be with me throughout bariatric changes. Thank god.
I just felt I should thankyou all here who keep me sane and have encouraged my efforts.
Together we have lowered my hba1c more to my best ever 51. I have reduced my insulin requirements by half. Half of nearly 300units of insulin perday. This is without the third lowering supplement r-ala. @Tim55 so there is far more lowering to come. I have lost 2 and a half stones since the turn of 2017. This is definately a good year for me!
I cannot stop smiling! :) :) :)

Editted to add. My hba1c is now 48. :)

Wow - you are an absolute winner - if I could find a GOLD STAR emoji you'd get one :) Such good news, you've worked so hard for this.

You are one of the friendliest most supportive people on the forum so you deserve some good news - keep on smiling x

So pleased for you @ickihun You have worked so hard for this, I am glad all that hard work is paying off. You deserve a gold medal for your effort and another for your achievements. :)

I'm not ready to burst my bubble but I've been having palpatations again which started at the weekend. Have to go and see gp. Received my consultants copy to gp letter this morning. Blood pressure was 153/110. By he was sharp writing!

Good to hear of your progress. Best wishes to you! We are all here to support each other! :)
