My last post was before Christmas where I admitted not only to myself but also you guys that I had a problem with taking my insulin and that I was in a poor state of health due to constant DKA.

I would like to update you all, as I have not been ill since, and I am currently taking all my insulin regularly. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the supportive and kind members of this forum who gave their time to read my story and comment on ways I could help myself. I’m now 3 months into my mental and physical “recovery” and doing better than ever!

Thank you again x

Well done, that's great news. Keep up the good work.

Love a good news story. Please do keep on posting and sharing progress. It is encouraging for others as well as making sure you keep on succeeding

I’m really pleased to hear things are better than before. Any time you are down come here and a have a whinge, trust me we are experts at doing just that.

That's just one of the great things about this place, you can get on here any time, day or night and you will have an ear to listen to you.

Well done on the improvements!

Wow. Wow! and just Wow! What a fabulous turnaround.

As I'm sure you know, people on here can say the words, but you are the only one who can put anything into action.

I'm really incredibly chuffed for you. My only comment would be to expect the odd bump in the road, moving forward, as things with diabetes, and T1 in particular change throw in a curved ball every now and again, but npow you know you cna change, you must be so much better equiped to deal with it.

Well done.

It was lovely to read how well you are doing, you haven't had the best start in life but boy oh boy you've certainly made the foundation for a fab future - well done you for turning it around you should be extremely proud of yourself. WELL DONE!!!

Saturday morning and I the first thread I read is yours and what an inspiring post :) Well done and I hope life continues to get better for you, take care :)

Fantastic news! I’m smiling broadly - I’m soooooo pleased you’ve done so well. Please don’t stop posting here but let us know how it’s going.
I think that we all need people who know what it’s like, and this lot of people don’t just know, they reach out to each other and want the best for all.
