LOL if I lose enough weight I might find a suitable jacket to do that!I'd put your suit on, stuff the shoulders with kitchen rolls and just go for it to Psycho Killer.
You seem to have gone from M &S to S & M in one post! ;-)I spent 2 hours walking around M&S with ma in law so claiming that yesterday for the exercise. I couldn't keep up with her going around the knicker session.
Today I had a session at the gym. Cos my legs were knackered I begged for mercy and I ended up doing loads of balance moves. I am officially a fairy elephant.

Is it a pyjama party or regulation nightie?I have spent the day doing inspections in my local hospital. Walked about from 9-3 . Partying tonight so I'll dance the night away.

Glad you managed to get out for your walk. Hope your headache has gone now. Wish the weather was more conducive to outdoor exercise.A brisk 50 minute walk at lunchtime. Weather a little chilly, but at least it was dry
Blood glucose has been normal for almost 3 years, but I still need to lose a lot of weight. Full rambling saga is on the thread about Newcastle diet.
Disclaimer: NB I am T2. Do not try my methods without first seeking medical advice. (Particularly the gallows humour!)
I'm Type 11, 10 years now. Just started metformin 1000 daily to keep things good. I started low, low, carb, higher protein and fats when I found the U.K. Website.
Aus diabetes mob say carb with every meal, not this little black duck! Started gym early on, and long walks with giant stride hubby. So cross to be mislead, but, onto it now. My family has a long history of type 1and 11, so caught it early. PCOS and hyperthyroid didn't help. Friend of mine got type 11 after cancer therapy, so I'm not griping about my situation, just glad to find people who have a sense of the absurd...like gallows humour, another laugh, thanks!
My adult sons and hubby keep a good check on me.....I get 2 lollies, or 4 maccas chips if thet bring stuff home lol.
Cream and butter and Greek yoghurt in moderation, with dark, dark chocolate make me feel spoilt, so who needs bread (sob)?
Hour and a half in the garden today, felt wonderful and 15 minutes walking up and down our curved, very steep driveway, legs like jelly!
Love the fighting spirit, and great effort today! Keeping positive and being proactive in your management is the way to stay healthy and a big dose of humour goes a long way to making that possible!I'm Type 11, 10 years now. 5k run yesterday (wears an annoyingly smug expression on face)
Smug only because even though I still had to walk some of the worst hill sections I didn't feel completely knackered at the end - only moderately knackered!
Photos photos!!
Sounds like you had a blast Jamrox! Easier 30mins today perhaps? Last time I went mad on the dance floor I cricked my neck from too much thrashing about. After feeling ten years younger on the dance floor I looked like I had aged twenty for the next couple of days!
Good luck to all for the tough mudder!
Gillie Ruth try adding raspberries to the greek yoghurt and chocolate yummy.
Are you in Aus?
Our national guidance says to eat healthy carbs, as you can see theres a lot of people disagree with that advice.

Yum, have to try that! Yes I'm in Aus and don't follow national guidelines. I found this site and the forums and have found so much great information! Diabetes Australia seems to be a fund- raising organization, but spends buckets on expensive magazines and handouts with very little content and lots of ads from the diabetes industry.....sound cynical I guess, but, the proof of the pudding is in the eating ..preferably with lots of carbs according to them!
Awwww - you're lovely! That's fantastic. Wish I could actually run 5k. Can walk it or cycle but the old ankles say NO to running. You deserve to feel smug. I feel smug for you too.
