"A new you in 42"

Mint humbug tea? Have to try that.
It's a twining. In a big tea bag and big leaves too! I love peppermint tea too. Very good for digestion. Don't know if it contains any carbs. I can't eat anything costa has to offer, except a packet of fruit and nut. Ditched the fruit, ate the nuts . They do a gluten free wrap if that helps anyone here but not for me. I might email them and ask them to look into carb free wraps. I made mine in the form of a ground almond and linseed pancake.

...I bought some low carb tortilla wraps from Amazon, 3g carbs per wrap, they taste fine but they're £3.80 for six, pricey, so I'd only buy them now and again, I fold and freeze them...they sell a few low carb things, pasta, bread mix etc., but very irritating that we have to pay way over the odds for them....

Done my half hour on bike, but hubby tells me there's two matches on tonight, possibly three so I might just glue my a*s to the thing now. I'm only watching when America play just so I can see Klinsmann.. sadly he won't be wearing those white shorts these days, though he is still welcome to dive my way.

A great day at the cricket overall but I'm not really sure how to work out how long I walked today. As my pedometer reads around 2000 steps more than it does on a work day when I've walked for 45 minutes I think that's what I'll claim for today. It'll almost certainly be an underestimate, but it'll do for the purposes of this challenge.

Aaaah football in the 70s... Liverpool, short shorts.

And on another matter:

Aaaah tennis in the 70s and 80s... John McEnroe et al, short shorts.

McEnroe was such a misunderstood young man. I always liked him and he's improved with age.

And on another matter:

I wonder if I should start a thread in the off topic section ... "Thinking woman's crumpet". Well a crumpet has carbs and it affects bg levels. Or to keep it within equality parameters I could call it "thinking diabetic's crumpet"
I would begin with Mr McEnroe ...

Although I've been losing weight steadily my waist measurement has been stuck on 39" for a while. I stopped my medication last week. Added my YouTube Zumba and a little lunch time walk. I lost 3lbs this week and 1.5" seems to have disappeared from my waist!

Happy days!!

Eeeeewww! No, no, no! Skinny and pasty in his youth. Definitely improved with age! But compare him with Björn Borg! Game, set and match to Borg!

Nope, don't agree Scandi, John McEnroe wins. He's the reason I started watching tennis

...I liked McEnroe too, you cannot be serious, and Lendl always looked good in his white shorts, nice legs

...Peace, well done on stopping the medication

...Haven't even moved a muscle yet this morning will make up for it later...
