Welcome
Last night I experimented with some drops of blood I added a drop of acetic acid to the blood and changed its color to the black at the moment

Is this caused by the presence of glucose or there is another reason ?
I wish I could find someone explain to me

I would expect someone who has such chemicals to know what the reaction would be caused by.....

what is acetic acid used for normally...?
I have no idea I also ask

I've been doing some tests so I know if I can measure blood glucose in a simple and homely way

I wouldn't think you could get an accurate reading from methods such as the one you described....

I assume you have access to methods of testing normally and you are just curious...?

I have no idea why you would even think of doing that but more likely due to the pH changing than glucose. I accidentally knocked a bottle of vinegar over a nice raw steak I was just about to cook once and it went brown. Doubt that glucose was involved lol

Arterial blood is bright red - due to the oxygenated heamoglobin, venous blood is darker.
Stale blood is black ( hence black puddings ) .

I think it's worth more time

I understand why you are trying to find a different way to measure your blood glucose levels but even if adding a chemical to your blood droplets made it easier to get a reading you would still need to test that mixture using strips and a meter. In my opinion adding a chemical such as acetic acid to your blood and then testing it using a glucometer is just a waste of a strip. They are expensive and are not designed to be used in this fashion.

I do not agree with you that he becomes black at the same moment

One of the checks on coughing up blood relates to colour.
- Bright red - likely source mouth/lung/sinus
- Black - stomach possible ulcer. ( stomach mild HCl )

Thanks

It's the same blood sample that contains the acetic acid becoming black and the other sample remains red

Are you possibly thinking of Apple Cider Vinegar and the claims that it can help with bg management?

This information first heard from you

I just discovered this by chance when I was trying to make the test strips myself already succeeded but the measurements were different each time

I personally have not tried using Apple Cider Vinegar but other members have. I have read, though, that you must take extra care with your teeth if you decide to try it as the acids can erode the enamel of your teeth.

Please let us know if you decide to experiment with drinking ACV and how you get on with it.

No I did not use apple cider vinegar I used white vinegar but I did not taste it

I took blood samples and placed them on a transparent sheet until I saw them with strong rays
I think hemoglobin has a role to play
I plan to design the color scale by color
Maybe even the blood group plays an important role I do not know

What is it that you hope to acheive?

I want to design a device that measures the degree of black color of the blood using the glass and the projection of light wave from the bottom and converted to an electric current by resistance to light
