A question re: water consumption and blood glucose numbers

Sometimes I get off my routine and don't drink enough. My Certified Diabetes Educator told me that tea and coffee count as liquid, but I also drink a good bit of water. But on the weekends, I tend to get off track (easier to have routine on work days.)

My question relates to this...I have noticed that on the weekends my numbers are higher. Is it because I am not drinking enough? I know I don't and try to remember. But is it that? or the fact that my routine and schedule is off in general? I eat the same, so meals aren't changed from the week days.

Assuming you work in the week, is your work stressful? I find stress can put up my blood sugars.
