Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Had an appointment to see my GP this morning, I wanted to ask him about:

1. Reducing my Metformin as my last A1c was 5.1%
2. Reducing the Omperosol that I have taken for some years now as I no longer take so many drugs.
3. To reduce the strength of the Morphine patches that I am prescribed that have been causing me some sickness and nausea due to the opiate.

So I have had a new lower strength patch prescribed with some back up Paracetamol should I need them, my Metformin is cut from 1000mg bi daily to 500mg bi daily and my omperazole is to be cut and fazed out over the next month or so :D

Oh and the lump I found on my shoulder in January and have I have been rather anxious about ever since has been diagnosed as a harmless lipoma, a small build up of fat tissue under the skin. I'd actually been quite worried about this so its a great load off my mind and I'm glad I didnt just ignore it.

All in all a very good day indeed :D

Great stuff all round Sid, well done mate

Hi Sid.

Lovely to hear all things gone very positive and so well for you.

You can really relax now and enjoy life .
Am thrilled for you :D

Happy days eh ...

Great,
Diabetes wise it's even more impressive when you consider that you used to need to use insulin.
Hope that you're able to manage with the lower dosage of patches.

Great news ther Sid, bet you are thrilled. Keep up the marvelous work, you are a star

It's brilliant to read such a hugely positive step forward in your health Sid Bonkers.

Great news Sid very well done!   and glad the lump turned out to be nothing sinister - always a worry when you come across something like that

Thank you all for your replies and good wishes, and yes lovinglife I was quite worried if truth be known so it was a great weight off my mind to get a positive diagnosis even if Google had told me as much already, Google however didnt stop me being anxious about it :D

That's the problem with Google,on one hand it provides a great wealth of knowledge but on the other it can worry you like mad when you type in your symptoms and something possibly ominous pops up-glad you've had a proper diagnosis that turned out to be positive.

Hi Sid, :)

This is really nice news, well done.

Your a great inspiration to me and many on this forum.

Google is good, however unlike you it has not got your common sense and that honest pleasant humor you share with us all.

Roy, :)
