- Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Had an appointment to see my GP this morning, I wanted to ask him about:
1. Reducing my Metformin as my last A1c was 5.1%
2. Reducing the Omperosol that I have taken for some years now as I no longer take so many drugs.
3. To reduce the strength of the Morphine patches that I am prescribed that have been causing me some sickness and nausea due to the opiate.
So I have had a new lower strength patch prescribed with some back up Paracetamol should I need them, my Metformin is cut from 1000mg bi daily to 500mg bi daily and my omperazole is to be cut and fazed out over the next month or so
Oh and the lump I found on my shoulder in January and have I have been rather anxious about ever since has been diagnosed as a harmless lipoma, a small build up of fat tissue under the skin. I'd actually been quite worried about this so its a great load off my mind and I'm glad I didnt just ignore it.
All in all a very good day indeed
