A1CNow - latest result

Well done Swim! The 5% club and hopefully soon to be member of the 4% club eh? :D
 
Well maybe - I think the A1CNow is reading 0.3 low so that's 6.0 really.. it's in the right direction though.
 
Absolutely!! Down from 10% a while ago so it's really good in my book so well done again,I hope I can get mine down like that too!!

because the last reading I did at the same time as the surgery test - and the A1CNow read 6.1 against 6.4

Hmmmm. Maybe. There are two types of error - systematic error (bias) or random error.

You're assuming the former, when it's probably the latter.

I think you should just take the lower value, give yourself a pat on the back, and eat a whole pack of chocolate hobnobs to celebrate.

...never got my results the other day, something amiss in the bloods I take it as I've to go back in 4 weeks to give them again, when I asked what was the reason I got the 'I'm not qualified enough to explain' :roll:
