Has anyone benefited from changing the insulin absortion time on their tandem to slim pump from 3 hrs to less. I just feel that 3 hrs is too long for me?

I can’t comment on the tandem but I am on the Medtronic 780g which offers the same thing of changing the Active Insulin Time. Mine used to be 3h 30 min but since changing it to 2h 30 min things have been a lot better for me in terms of overall blood sugars

Thanks for that tip Nicola - I was at 4 hours but felt there was room for improvement so have dropped mine to 3 hours, think it's really trial and error and we all process insulin at different rates and then that's dependent on exercise/stress/time of day etc etc
