Hello pumpers, am about to change my treatment from pens to pump (Insight) and I would like to ask if you have to carry the handset with you all the time. Many thanks.
 
Hi @Kostas - great news I tend to carry it most of the time, however you can deliver insulin straight from the pump also. I've done this several times if on the odd occasion I've left it in the car. Good luck with it - I'm sure you'll love it.
 
Hi @Kostas - I chose this pump because I could either use it with the handset or direct from the pump. There are times when its easier to use the pump direct. I also wear a CGM and take part in some sports where easy and convenient access to the handset is not always possible. Saying that I'd guess over 90+% of the time I use the handset.
