So I have been diabetes for 22 years and only experienced this at the end of my 2nd pregnancy but I'm not pregnant and confused. My hypos are taking between an hour and 30 mins to get into target. Should I seek medical help or is this just something that happens? Tia Zara x

May I ask what you do to treat your hypo's? And do you have any complications from diabetes? I don't expect to be able to help you with answers, but others might have ideas and I think this will be useful information.

Also, it never hurts to ask your diabetes team for help, so please do!

Are you hypo aware? Are you only picking them up when very low? Liquids are absorbed quicker so you could try using orange juice or sugary coke.
Oh and what do you consider in range?

Also some medications cause different issues. I know when I was given a toradol shot last year after about 12 hours I started crashing big time. It took 3 apple juices to get up to normal and then 4 hours later my BG's started climbing and I needed extra insulin. It was very strange.

Would you be willing to let us know what insulin you take and what sort of diet you follow?
And when abouts the hypos seem to happen?
This information could help to establish possible causes for your hypos and why it takes so long for your BSLs to recover.
Best Wishes.
