Advice on Newcastle Diet for smaller women

Fbg 8.4 and this is the smallest Dawn phenomenon ever as o went to bed at 7.9. Either it's a fantastic placebo this diet or it's working

Today is going to be challenging as I have a late meeting. So I've bought a milk shake to work. Hoping I don't flake out as I'm driving home

So all done with eating drinking etc today . 740 Cals taken in. Headache but otherwise ok. The meeting I went to has nice biscuits and I contemplated them for about a millisecond and just moved on

It sounds like good progress so far.

8.4 when I went to bed so barely a dawn phenomenon at all. So I think now my liver's understanding is improving

Or alternatively my cells are becoming less resistant to insulin and metabolising the glucose my darling liver produces. Or my pancreas is producing more insulin as its more sensitive now to glucose levels. Or a combo of the above. So glad I did biology. Means I can at least be rigorous in my analysis : joke

Or my monitor just had a rogue reading if I'm being pessimistic

9 stone 2.5, 58 kg, 128lbs. Only 5.5 pounds to go til my BMI is normal and I'm officially not overweight . My original target for this diet was to get to 8 stone 4. I'm revising that down now to 7 stone 13. And obviously to have normal bgls

Going to add to that: reducing my waist to hip ratio from high risk which it is atm to low risk. Presuming my hips don't lose much fat (I'm the perfect Apple shape : people give up seats on the tube for me coz they think I'm pregnant), I will need to come down from a 33.5 inch waist to around about a 25 inch waist. That I think is a better more healthy challenge for me

Ok so I can't count calories either if I cook. Haven't dared tell boyfriend that I was even more out than him in my cooking. 896 calories today. But I did go for a run so I probably ran the additional calories off. All goes to show that for a simple mind like mine 2 shakes and 250g of veg a day is probably the best way forward

Calories in food are an average anyway.

For example,
Sweeter fruit, more carbs, less fibre.
Oilier avocados, more fat, less fibre.

So there is always some leeway.
(probably why the original diet was very specific, and used the shakes)
But I wouldn't stress if some days you're over, some days you're under, so long as it's more a vast amount.

Wasn't that stressed just a bit bemused that I can't add up either. Ah well. The good news is Fbg was 8.3 after going to bed at 7.1.

Are you hungry or any other symptoms?
The weight loss and lower BS is great progress.
How did you decide you like your veggies now?

I'm fine with this most of the time. I've been very hungry 1 night as my Bf took ages cooking. I got into the veg as coz I'm on only 2 shakes a day it gives me more leeway with fats. I've always liked (well since I was about 30) vegetables but have always had them with some sort of fat.

I've had a few headaches, been cold (but I feel the cold anyway if it's less than 23c) and felt a bit dizzy occasionally but other than that, I'm fine
