Well, I'm with the little grey cat here, but if you insist, please do keep an eye on your BG levels and if it rises significantly it could indicate that they were not good for you.

Well just taken sugar reading again and I’m down to 15 it’s better but I have hardly eaten had a two egg scrambled egg earlier so I’m looking forward to my roast I’ll be testing again before I go to bed so fingers crossed it doesn’t flare again. Thanks for all the advice I’ll keep you posted x

Hi all me again just got back from Drs. She didn’t seem overly concerned by my blood sugars but to increase my insulin to 10 units from 8 units at night. The test results still aren’t there from the hospital last week so I don’t know what to do. The tiredness that I’m having is consistent with my sugar levels so when that corrects so will that I guess.
I asked about my diet and she said you could try cutting down or out the carbs see if that makes a difference an try to have something like food quality eggs and sausages for breakfast instead of cereal grr I’m no further forward than yesterday

teddybear, look for the low carb programme on diabetes.co.uk and work your way through. It is disgusting that you are not offered suitable support, so you have to educate yourself.
Also, see if you can find an X-PERT course near you on xperthealth.org.uk
If there isn't you can still buy their book "Eat Fat"; you have to click around their shop a little to find it.
Even if you turn out to be T1 diabetic, low carb won't do any harmn.

Well at least you didn't have anyone pontificating about eating carbs for the sake of your continued existence.
If you can stop eating high carb foods - just stick to lower carb ones as you are taking insulin and low carbing can cause significant drops in blood glucose once it starts to take effect.
I find that eating some of my carbs with each meal I have rather than none at all for one meal and then a day's worth all at once, keep my glucose levels on a more even keel and seem to stop the dawn phenomenon which can go on raising levels all day in some circumstances.
