I am due to have a procedure in we'd under General anesthic...
I can not eat after 3 am or drink after 7 am..
The hospital is 45 mins away a and down for surgery between 8.30 and 10.
My worry is I go got quite a lot and if me that meal is 3 am this is definitely going to happen before the surgery but what can I take for it as I will be "NIL BY Mouth and when I am sedated what happens if one top again as I am not on any meds.
After all being well I will be awake at 12 pm...just seem a long time of minimum of 9 hours no food or water.
Has anyone got any advice how to deal with this as will be stuck in a MIR machine.
Thanks in advanc

I'm not really getting this. Are you worried about a hypo is your level drops too low? You say you are not on meds...are you on a low carb diet? What do you normally do when you sleep..isn't that a similar length of time. Unless your are used to levels dropping very low, I would not panic about it...if you are on a low cab diet...maybe up the cars slightly just before 3am? I'd mention it to the medical team, if you are really worried and anticipating a hypo...if not...I'm not quite understanding some of your words...sorry.
