Last December my ACR was 4, newly diagnosed as Type 2, HbA1c was 52, and I decided to follow a LCHF diet.
Came off the diet late February, as I was having surgery, but my HbA1c had dropped from 52 to 40.
Now its time to get back on the diet, my GP has run bloods and my HbA1c is up to 44. Fair enough, I can deal with that,
but he is also telling me my ACR is now up to 10 from 4, based on a urine test done yesterday.
His admin has booked a phone conversation with me for 15th July (today is the 4th), so I don't think it can be that serious, but it is worrying me.
I think he will want to put me on Ramipril, but I've had it before, for migraines, and it made the headaches worse, so I don't want to go back to it.
Has anyone had the same or similar problem?
