There is no better BG protecting beverage than gin in my opinion. Two G&T's will stop most things including a reasonable sized slice of sweet sticky chocolate birthday cake. If we're having a party why stop at two!

Although alcohol is going to help control blood glucose as your liver is going to stop releasing background glucose whilst it deals with the alcohol this is only going to be for a couple of hours at best and then it will business as usual... unless you plan on having a drink every 3 - 4 hours then I don't see this as a means to control... well not unless you want to replace diabetes with liver failure
