I am a Type 2 diabetic (on Gliclazide and Sitagliptin) who has a bowl of All-Bran for breakfast with two tablespoons of oat bran sprinkled on top. I usually have coconut milk or almond milk with this. Is this an acceptable way to get fibre in my dietary regime? The rest of the day I usually have 2 or sometimes 3 small low-carb or carb-free meals. My blood sugar this morning was 4.7 and this is fairly typical for days when I don't overindulge.
