All levels in the normal range...

I called the doctor's for news on my HbA1c blood test results this morning and the receptionist tells me 'all levels are within the normal range but the Dr would like a repeat liver function test in 3 months'. I didn't know really what to make of this but I've asked for a call back from my DN to discuss what this means. I've managed to lose a little over 30 pounds since 15/04 by low carbing my butt off (literally it would seem!). I know I should just wait for the call back but, any thoughts? What's the normal course of action with results? No one seemed to be in a hurry to contact me and the test was carried out on the 21/05...

Normally things like that I call in and get a print out, receptionists are rubbish at giving results. I would skip the DSN and get a GP call to discuss although it doesnt sound like they are very worried or anything,

Agree, go to Practice.
Get a printout of your results. (Ask receptionist).
Join up as an online patient as nlood tests and tecords etc will be viewable soon....(unless they can give a patient a reason why viewing them would be detrimental to health).
A GP appt isn't actually necessary if your GPs do phone call back appts to discuss results. (Ours do - and will write out scripts if necessary).

Thanks for your time and advice, tis greatly appreciated! Had my call back from the nurse and everything has been explained and looking rather loverly! She's even getting a printout left at reception for me :)
