All these vaccines needed?

The lancets don’t look quite the same here but the same principle.
I liked them when I was in hospital earlier in the year. I was going to souvenir a couple but the Sister took the box away before I could get some. :D

well I have just recently had the A&B-hepatitis vaccines ... because I am going to Mexico later this year.. , it is such a devastating disease to get ..I think it could maybe be a fine idea to get this vaccine if one fear ones health is going maybe to be worse in future, then it is a fine thing to have had them while one was stronger and more fit for fight..

If you get the 3 times jab for both Hepatitis A&B you are secured for life for the one type and for 30-40 years on for the other..

I also got some powder I have to desolve in water I think against a kind of coli-bacteria (protects for two years )one can get from drinking dirty-water and contaminated foods like fruits..I have to drink twice from 1 month before leaving...I have a bad history of vommiting for month and month earlier in life on top of stomach viruses and alike..so thought I would try to do what I can not to be hospitalised in Mexico with my wommiting syndrome-thing

if you have been encouraged to have all these vaccines.

I don't think anyone went out of their way to persuade me, but I have certainly had the following:

Influenza
Tdap
pneumococcal

I might be offered Zoster when I get older, after seeing both my parents suffer, Shingles is something I would like to avoid.

Hi Graham, I agree with you 100 percent. I had pneumococcal septiceamia 20 years ago and had a temp 104 for over two weeks. Was in hospital with the rash all over my body with massive doses of antibiotics by IV.
Quite a few die of the above, I must have the constitution of a horse, any doubting please have the vaccination to avoid septiceamia.

No, I haven't been offered a pneumonia jab. Maybe I'll ask when I have my flu jab next winter
The GP's do not like giving fluvax and pneumovax on the same day here in Australia. I had to go back the following week for the pneoumo one. The same when the final one was due as well.
