Ally - You must be feeling a little optimistic your scores? Bearing in mind you've had a few difficult days when you've (understandably) stepped off the straight and narrow, your scores seem to snap back into what seems to be your range now?

I guess you still need to be careful the trends aren't upwards, but so far, I think you're doing well, all things considered.

So well done Ally; especially given all that's going on. Are you finding it's a comfort to know you can control your bloods now, when other aspects might not feel so under your control?

You should be proud.

it has been hard to stick to no sugars, and while at mums had slipped a few times

We're with ya' ..... stay straight ally :) You have done WAYYYYYYYYYY too much great and inspiring work to let this slip

Hi ally, as long as the slips don't become a daily thing you should be fine. If your mum is like mine - she most likely doesn't take the word no very well when she is offering you something you shouldn't really have. None of us can live without the odd treat.. I know I can't :)

I think that's completely understandable, Ally. I'm guessing you probably have lots of visitors coming to pay their respects, so there'll be copious tea (and biccies or cake) going around. At times like this it's also natural sometimes to get a bit out of synch with mealtimes.

As long as the good outweigh the bad, you'll be fine - especially as you are showing so strongly you want to do this.
