Hey guys,

I was going to put this in the low carb forum but I'd like a few responses that aren't necessarily low carb for variety (plus I can always adapt ideas to fit what I need anyway!)

I am getting very VERY bored of salad for lunches.
Don't get me wrong, I like salad but it's getting a bit tasteless now and as Autumn starts getting nearer I'm not going to want salad every day anyway.

I don't eat bread or pasta as I'm a little intolerant to wheat products; although pasta affects me less than bread does.
I can tolerate rice in small amounts.

I like most foods with the exception of liver (and other offal), eggplant (aubergine), lamb (makes me sick) and I'm lactose intolerant (I can tolerate small amounts of hard cheese, sour cream and low fat yogurt but everything else is a "no")

I'm really just looking for things that are filling, tasty and have a good amount of fiber.

Thank you!
:D

Soups (with a slice of low carb bread or buns - recipe in the forum), quiche, frittata, pizza, risotto, scotch eggs, lc pasta with any sauce you like, Flammkuchen, sandwiches, lc rice pudding, sausages with creamy, cheesy cauli mash topped with fried onions, fish, any meat/poultry, kebab, burgers, IanD's almond porridge is nice any time of day, quick veg/shirataki noodle stir fry, I am sure I can think of more but all these spring to mind for the moment

Sorry, am lc, so am a bit one sided, I hope someone else can come up with more/better responses

If you tolerate rice:

Can of tuna, 2-3 spoonfuls of rice, diced celery, diced green pepper, couple spoons of sour cream, salt-pepper-curry powder.

Avocado with shrimp or chicken filling.

Eggs-olives-feta-pickled garlics tend to spice up a salad for me.

Coleslaw-like salad.

Yoghurt/tzaziki.
