The problem with your logic is that it is based on old science. Not all calories are equal. This is my own opinion because I have seen it work for me, as have others. I cannot tell anyone that fat makes you fat when I know it doesn't. It's the carbs and/or the combination of fat and carbs. Either way, cut the carbs and weight loss becomes easier.
No, I haven't lost any more weight since but I have maintained the 6 pounds weight loss and am hoping to do so unto I can fit another fat fast into my life. My daily calorie intake now is around 1500 calories, I'm sorry I can only guess at that because life got hectic and I stopped recording my diet on myfitnesspal. I am back to eating my normal diet though so I think 1500 cals per day is a pretty good guessimate. I'll try to keep proper records all the time after my next one, then it will be a bit more scientific.
Well yes, it is for most people. It's a good result.
But at 1500 calories, that's definitely a low calorie diet for me!

Should a gall bladder make a difference?
Without it, you don't store bile, but release it continuously.
So you should still be able to process fat. Then again, if you can't, the worse that happens is the fat isn't digested, and your stools float.
Then you can adjust your diet if required.

I can assure you that there is no problem with my knowledge it has worked for me, but of course I could post up loads of contradictory links but you wouldnt bother reading them or you would choose to ignore the advice given from professionals, preferring to believe all the lchf bloggers and diet gurus who make money selling supplements and/or diet books.
Its calories that make one fat ie eating too much and that could be carbs protein of fat but is usually a combination of all three because most people in the UK eat too much which is why we now have an obesity epidemic in this country. And it is calories that when cut enable one to lose weight.
Oh, and heres the proof
Over 5 stone weight loss with NO extra fat added to my diet and maintained for over 5 years now.
Over to you?
