- I do not have diabetes
I was at my usual football training tonight when someone I know mentioned how well I looked and how much weight I had lost. So I told him about my condition!
A good friend joined in and said that the reason that I had my new look was because I had been ill!
Now this made speechless and gave me pause for thought. I had never considered myself as ill and I have often posted in a thread about my 'condition'!
I can't get it out of my head that I have been! I don't want to admit it!
I thought I had beaten the beast and with my new meds that my outlook looked very good.
No diabetes, no going back. A real diet and meds that are working. A better place to be!
I know and have admitted that I'm going to be on my meds for the rest of my life. But. Am I still Ill?
Am I in denial about my pancreas not working normally?
I need to listen to my friends on here about this or am I looking for a comfort zone?
Please tell me straight I can take it! I have faced this disease in the face and I'm not certain no more!
Sorry for waffling it this has hit me hard!
