These can creep up on you quite rapidly so tests you had only a year or so ago would be irrelevant. Hopefully your GP will do all the right tests and correctly diagnose you. If you are diabetic and your GP just classes you as T2 as you weren't a T1 at birth then be prepared to discuss further.

What did you eat for your meal? Sounds like you may be prediabetic if not full blow diabetes.

i know absolutely nothing about blood sugar, but surely they should be going upwards after food and not down?
