So am I getting it right...
Pre dinner bloods of 7.4, 2 hrs later it is 7.7. I had a bowl of chilli (no kidney beans) with cheese. So low carb, and post dinner bloods within 2 of pre? That's good right? I know though I should be below 7, but getting there!
Only obvious carbs I had all day was a slice of bread with my breakfast, and that was wholemeal seed sensations, had that with a sausage and scrambled eggs. Had a small pot of sugar free jelly at morning break (easier to avoid the platter of sandwiches if I can occupy my hands/mouth!) lunch was a couple of sausages in sauce, with veg and salad (did cheat and have some beetroot!), then the bowl of chilli and cheese for supper.
On the downside starting to feel bloated, vision is blurry/double for anything close, and still having to go to the loo fairly soon after the meal after my metformin tablet.
Got my liver scan appointment through, says to call them and rearrange for first thing in the morning if you are diabetic, as it is a fasting scan, so will call in tomorrow morning to sort that out.
