Why 37?Well done on the magnificent drop but I'd say unless you are at 37 or lower without medication, you are close but not quite 'in remission' and if you were to regain weight or revert to the eating patterns that got you to 52, you would become diabetic once more.
You are still a T2 diabetic, even with a reduced hba1c.I have just had a blood test and my HbA1c has gone down from 52 to 40 since December,does that mean that I am not type 2 diabetes any longer?
A few might say if there’s no sign of it in tests or symptoms then it’s not there but as I say that’s not how most see it. (Sorry Jim)
