At least 8 times a day imho, plus a few night time tests.I didn't mean it like that, I have been testing more, it's just everyone I ask about the pump it's always the same answer that I'm not testing enough, there's some days I'm testing 7-8 times a day, how many times do I need to do it?
Do you actually do anything with the test results?
Ask that it's put in writing why you can not have a pump then address the issues. If you have addressed all the issues then ask your GP for a transfer to a pump friendly clinic.
Pumps are not plug and play, there is a lot and I do mean a lot of work involved in pumping.
Do you understand about carb ratios, insulin sensitivity, also do you understand how different food affect your blood sugars?
