Am I Type 2 or Type 3C?

Hi All,

I was told back in 2013 that i had diabetes and type 2. But the end of 2020 I was diagnosed with EPI. I have had an MRI scan of my small bowel and pancreases, just awaiting the results to see if I have an auto-immune issue the my pancreases or not I do take Creon with all meals as. I was told could be passable as i have psychic arthritis. which i take methotrexate for.

So am I a type 2 diabetic or a type 3c? I have had issues with my gut since a teenager but nothing was ever found.

We can't diagnose you on this forum. You need to wait for the results of your tests and confirm your diagnosis with a GP or specialist. EPI puts you at greater risk of diabetes. And diabetes can lead to EPI.
 
You don’t have any results to speak about yet, so it would be well nigh impossible to even speculate on what your condition is. Although….if you have one autoimmune condition, it is likely that you may have others.
