Android version of Diabetes Forum App is not on the Google Play Store

An information bubble at the top of the Reactive Hypoglycemia Forum says "Get the Diabetes Forum App for your phone - available on iOS and Android." But when I click on "Android", either on a computer or my phone, the Google Play Store gives an error message: "Something went wrong". When I search for Diabetes.co.uk apps in the Google Play Store, I get zero hits. I am in the US. Does anyone know why I am running into this problem and how to solve it? Sounds like technical issues with the app, it happened a couple of weeks ago as well.
Let me tag some of the moderators so they can inform the tech team: @EllieM , @lovinglife , @TriciaWs .

For what it's worth, I've used the forum for years and much prefer using my browser, both on phone and computer. I did try the forum app at some point but found it very confusing so I deleted it again.

Moderators have been advised by Admin that they currently building a new app for use on Android which will be available in the App Store, there will be a formal announcement once it’s up and running
