Hi all , im a bit worried at the present im waiting to go in for an angiogram i had a bit of an episode which seen me in A&E having tests etc then i seen a specialist nurse in cardiology so currently im waiting for the angiogram. I was given the spray etc more tablets aspirin etc.
i have had a funny feeling in my arm of numbness tingling in my fingers etc which doesn't ever seem to go away, also last few days ive noticed im more tired than usual also been a bit dizzy when moving a bit quicker or looking up wards.

Any thoughts from anyone who can relate?

Yes, I can relate. But it will be best if you trust what the doctors say.
I have had intermittent pins and needles on the left side of the body for a couple of years. Since six months ago, pins and needles are there all the time from my face down to my toes. I was investigated for a mini-stroke four months ago. Thankfully mini-stroke was ruled out. The consultant said that when the pins and needles become so bad that I cannot feel anything on the left side when touch with my right hand, then that will be the time to go to A&E. I have occasional fast heart beats (first spotted because episodes of fainting) and I have been waiting to see a cardiologist (thus far only telephone chat with a cardiologist). I am on blood thinners. I was on beta-blockers, but those were discontinued because of side effects. I, also, am tired all the time. Even fell asleep at traffic lights one morning at 11:00 hrs, but woke up when the car behind me tooted.

Hi, not much help here but sharing my experience as different to yours so hopefully reassure you? Maybe? Hope so!

The angiogram itself is very easy, no pain. It’s also a really good way for them to find stuff that’s wrong, I had every test in the book that found nothing, they were suggesting I was having panic attacks until the angiogram that showed I needed a bypass, that’s not suggesting you will need one.

My version of angina was very different to yours, I had heartburn that went away after I stopped walking for 10 seconds, then came back when I walked again, basically I got heartburn when my pulse went up. The spray is amazingly effective but sit down before you squirt it.

I also had a mini stroke, this for me was like my whole arm, up to my shoulder being plunged into a very warm bath, then when I stood up, the hot water flushed from my arm and down my whole left torso, it was very weird and hard to mistake for anything else. The tests showed zero damage from the TIA but the stroke consultant said as my symptoms were so text book he is treating me as having one. This means I don’t actually know if I had one but my travel insurance is more expensive so I’m hoping I did (joking).

I hope you get some good answers.
