Hi all
Just called by to say hi & hope all are doing well.
I Have only been diagnosed as T2 since April 21st, diet controlled & doing very well.
I have lost almost 2st just by cutting my portion size & leaving the pastry, biscuits & chocs alone.
Exercise has had a big part in this too & iv'e never felt better. :)
I do get my bad days where i wish i wasn't diabetc but hey i'm thankful i'm still alive
Take care all & hope to see you on the boards & learn something myself.

hya and a warm welcome to the forum,
have a good look around and ask as many questions as u need, although you seem to be doing really well already :D

Hi sweet satin and welcome to the forum!

I'm sure you'll find this a helpful, supportive and friendly place to be!

Congratulations on your success! :D :D This has been similar to my experience of being diagnosed as diabetic earlier this year and along with diet and exercise, I've never felt better either, health-wise I can say the diagnosis was a much needed 'wake-up call'!

best wishes, Sue

Hi sweetsatin - Great stuff that! Keep up the good work. It's very likely that you will see a big improvement in your blood glucose levels and - more importantly - prevent complications developing further dow the line. Have you seen any improvement already?

Best Wishes - John
