Thanks to this forum & you great people, my latest HbA1c result was 38.
So from T2 diagnosis my figures have been 91, 43, 36, 38, 38, 41, 38.
My GP & DN are very happy, as am I. I was also on Metformin SR, 500mg x 2, one of the lucky folk to have never had side effects, so never really minded taking them. After this last result, GP has now taken me off Metformin for a 3 month trial. Which is good in one way, but...my FBG are now showing 7s, some 8s & even a 9.
This is just in the last couple of weeks, the first 4 days after stopping were my norm, then the rise. My diet hasn't changed at all, so it seems the Metformin was doing some good. The next couple of months or so are going to be interesting to see if my body will level it out.
Again, thank you very much, as without you all, I wouldn't have taken on the low carb way of life & taken such good control.
