So basically about a month ago a I posted a thread explaining that I was losing memory.
This time around I know why
My body has bee so exhausted in the last few weeks whenever I have had a conversation with someone I'm so tired I'm not even taking it in or recognising what they are saying.
I've been falling asleep at work and feel like I've constantly got the flu. My body aches from head to toe. And I find it hard to get out of bed
Went to the doctors Tuesday and went straight to the hospital the next day to be tested for Anemia, lupus, thyroid and to have my bloods checked. Went to sleep last night at half 8 and got up at 7 for work. And now I'm falling asleep again. I'm 23 , with a healthy diet. Excersise as regularly as can be and I feel like **** constantly.
Anyone else ??
 
When do you get your test results back? Hopefully they'll pick upon the cause of your tiredness and treat you accordingly. Best wishes.

I'm hoping nothing is wrong but then in a weird way I hope they find something just so they can help me end the tiredness and exhaustion

Understandable, hopefully it won't be anything too serious and they can get you back to being well again :)
 
hey rachy, hope they find out something fairly straight forward and can set you straight.
Feeling rubbish is bad enough but when your mind starts going it can be quite distressing.

With the memory loss and also exhaustion it may well be thyroid. Once this is diagnosed it is fairly easily treated with meds. Whatever the cause turns out to be, I hope you are right as rain soon. x

Hi it's good you are being tested for different medical conditions. The Lupus test can take a couple of weeks and the blood is usually sent to a specialist hospital. I do hope you find out what it is, then you can get the appropriate medication, as you sound shattered and worn out. Fingers crossed for you and wishing you all the very best and take good care x

Glad u went to GP and they listened enough to give you some tests.

We'll bloods have come back and everything is normal. I just don't understand how I'm feeling like I'm 90 years of age. This is horrible. Going back next week for more tests :( cxx
 
Did they test for vitamin d I believe a lack can cause extreme tiredness

Hi Rachy

As carty says definitely ask to have your Vitamin D level tested as diabetes and Vitamin D deficiency are linked. I had mine tested recently for a fracture that isn't mending along with feeling like a hibernating dormouse and having really achy limbs and joints. The results showed I was seriously deficient and I was prescribed a high dose capsule for 4 weeks followed by a maintenance dose. It's already working as I'm feeling more like me. I hope they are able to help you out and you begin to feel better very soon.
 
They haven't tested me for vitamin d deficiency but they did test me for thyroid. I will ask about the vitamin d next Monday when I go in though. Thank you for your suggestions I appreciate it. There must be a reason for this xxxx

Has anyone suggested ME? Hope you find a solution soon.
 
What were your thyroid results? Never accept "normal", you need the numbers. With ranges.

Hi hope you get sorted soon it's horrible being so tired, I have T1 under active thyroid, anemia and I get tired, good luck
 
Yeah someone did say ME and they tested me for thyroid problems as it's in my family. So is lupus. My mom has them. I'm worried because u hear horror stories all the time of doctors missing an illness or condition for months until it gets too bad. I think that's a hint of hypochondriac coming into play though! Xxx
