Hi I've been type one diabetic for 15years but lately I have had bad anxiety I think something bad go by to happen. I'm going to have a bad hypo or I'm going to faint Or I will be unwell. Can someone help me.

Hello @Mrshaylett Firstly will it make you feel better if i tell you that you are not alone ? This is fairly common for type 1's to feel this way at some point or other.

Do you know what's triggered these feelings ? Have you had a bad hypo ? How is your control in general ?

I have used meditation in the past which helped my overcome my anxiety, you can look some up on Youtube, look for mindfulness meditation, or just go for a long brisk walk, breath in fresh air.

It does pass in time, but it helps to know what's triggered this and why you feel the way you do.

Yes I've had bad hypos in the past a felt unwell my legs went like jelly and I felt confused. Lucky my husband was with me and helped me but I worry what if I'm on my own and it happens: what if I hypo and can't do anything about it. My general control is bad and have struggled with it since I have been diabetic and am now getting a few of the consequences of how high and uncontrolled diabetes. Thank you for replying.
