Hello everyone. I am trying out fasting for the first time, but want to do this correctly.
Can I still have tea with milk, or watered down orange juice first thing (something I always have) and is there anything else that I should be doing/
I've never attempted this before but feel that I need to try and get fitter on the inside after gaining 2 stone over lockdown.
Will I get hungry and how do I deal with that please?
Thank you for any help offered by those who are dab hands at this.

I do it every day to some extent.. what kind of fast are you thinking of doing?

Coffee with double cream is my crutch.. tea with cream might be a bit more filling?

Orange juice I would suggest avoiding .. maybe sparkling water would be better.

Ease yourself into it maybe just miss a meal ( I dropped breakfast and replaced it with the coffee) then increased my non eating period more and more each day then went to 24 then 48 the 72 hour fasts eventually ending up at 7 days (although not regularly and not for a few years).

It gets easier the more you do it.

Well, I have just returned to this thread, mainly to find out just how long ago I began the intermittent fasts. I have truly surprised myself bulkbiker and have not once felt tempted to eat the wrong things (I have cakes, biscuits, ice-cream bars and other 'not allowed' goodies in all the time for my daughter but honestly have not had the slightest flicker of interest in them. I must make a note on my calendar to remind me of when my eating low carbs first began :)
