Currently 47 and have been T1 for 43 years, recently in the last to 2/3 weeks I've noticed thinning and loss of hair on top, not sure what is causing it atm. But it's starting to get me down quite abit and as usual family members are non-supportive and just make jokes.
Anyway has anyone here had an hair transplant if so I have a few questions:-
Can type 1s have one safely?
Did it effect your BGLs in anyway?
Where did you get it done?
Costs?
Do you have to stay on any types of medication before/after the procedure?
Did it work?
I'm thinking of starting Biotein as apparently if helps hair growth, has anyone tried it?
