People. Noise. Swearing. Many foods.
My blood sugars are really starting to annoy me, lol.

A few weeks ago I was comfortably in the 4-5.5 bracket in the morning, but the last two weeks I have hovered around the 7.5-9.0 range whilst my diet hasn't changed. I have tested some food for spikes, but because I seem to exist on a low carb, a lot of fish, a lot of broccoli and sugar-free drinks, there's never been much change aside from those random spikes I was ready for.
I know life's manic (up at the hospital every week with my better-half), poor sleep and my fibromyalgia is worse than usual, but I'm getting pretty disillusioned of doing my morning test to show I can't get my reading below 6 or even 7.
I just wish I knew what I was doing wrong.

Chances are you are not doing anything wrong with all your other things to sort and stress I find with mine that can make a difference, even getting a good nights sleep or a bad night can make a difference well to me any way

As a carer I know stress impacts on your health your blood glucose, sleep and any other health issues you are having. It's a bit of a vicious cycle and important that when you are experiencing stress you are kind to yourself. Don't beat yourself up - you are doing what you can sticking with the right food will help. It's hard to keep going when you don't see the results from what you are eating but I'm sure they would be higher figures if you were not eating in a way that didn't spike your sugars. Look after yourself.

Hi , I am no expert , but I do agree with what has been said regards stress , it does play its part in sugar levels and age also , I have been fighting my level for 15 years and the only thing that really seems to help me apart from diet is losing weight .

Hi as a sensor wearer monitoring my levels. I used to have a rather “intense” manager at work.
BG rises after encounters. Lol, one colleague spotted my Libre graph after one meeting & joked my “stocks & shares are doing well..”

Stress doesn’t always manifest itself on the “outside.”
