i dont see mine anymore since the first few times
for alot of reasons
mainly that they have their own info. they want
and take up the whole appt. with it thus never
getting to my concerns
plus
the advice is awful for me and maybe others
such as what to eat one example being the
flavored sugar pks of oatmeals (19 grams sugar in the box she showed me for 1 pk)
plus my tent just wont fit in their office lol
they want me to come back sooooo often
and
once when i actually got into the normal non diabetic range
of a1c they actually told me it was too low????????
so this means ppl with normal a1cs are too low?
but im quite happy not going

I have been tremendously lucky with my surgery. From my initial issue of a urine infection in late April, to blood tests and then to diagnosis in June, I've been kept in contact with all the time, and have eye screening and have my review this coming week.

Since covid 6 month telephone appointments. Still can't see anyone in person. Always get a DSN instead of a consultant.

I was still supposed to be on 6 month testing at the start of the pandemic. I've had one blood test at my GP's since Jan 2020. No annual foot or eye checks last year. Eye test cancelled last June is now booked for Nov.
Not too worried that my GP isn't functioning as far as diabetes goes but not happy they aren't checking on my other conditions and my last two annual medication checks were a joke (I'm on controlled drugs that require supervision and proper checks!).
