Anybody else with Type 1 and relapsing MS?

I have been Type 1 Diabetic for 19 years, on 5 injections a day and have just been diagnosed with relapsing/remitting MS and am finding it hard to find people with both conditions that I can speak to. I have been told it is very 'unlucky' to have both!
I have only just been diagnosed with the MS and not on any medication for it yet, just painkillers.

I'll 'bump' your post up Kirsty in the hope that you get a reply, as a suggestion you could try getting in touch with Diabetes UK who may know of any support groups in the UK.

Thank you. Have spoken to MS Society but will try Diabetes UK next or even write in to Balance. Neurologist said having both is quite unusual, and am just getting used to idea, so am hoping as many different media may find others to talk to. Thank u again
