soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I'm going to the Diabetes UK "Service User Rep Networking Event" on 25th September? I so, I'm the junoesque blonde.

I am a member of diabetes UK and the event is in London
I go to one or two per year. One of the administrators makes a point of asking me, because she knows I'm on a dietary education mission. I make the discussions livelier :lol:

I thought that it had been you who said that you weren't a member - just remembered that was Trinkwasser. I've just cancelled my direct debit because of the advice Diabetes UK give out. In fact, I think that their advice led me in the wrong direction for eight years.

I've been considering whether to attend another Diabetes UK event which is due to be held in York on 17th October. It's called a Networking Day - includes guest speaker Dr Iain Frame, Director of Research, Diabetes UK. Have you ever been to anything like that?

Hi Hana.

I have a complaint I wish you to take up at this meeting. I am a PWD..(where I come from that means Public Works Department) !!! I am a member of DUK too...I never get invited to any of these shindigs. What am I doing wrong....? :D

PWD....on here I think it quite often means POSTING WHILE DRUNK..... :lol:
