If so are you enjoying the dark evenings as much as I am!!! I have a lovely little (although not so little due how much grass we have) Dales mare called Tia
Hiya,
The dark nights are here once again, but it's the rain that has been more of a problem over the past week. I have a grey Thoroughbred mare, ex-racehorse. I think she might have been a hippo in a previous life as she loves wallowing in the mud and even though her rug covers her from ears to tail she still comes in from the field absolutely filthy every night so it is almost always pitch black by the time I've finished grooming and finally tack up!
I've never ridden a horse, but they are a very important part of my son's life .... Ingot wanted a cuddle & sidled up to me. Never been so close to a horse.
