As you are post surgical removal of your pancreas, you are a type 3c diabetic, I believe, and surely ought to have specialist care - I often read that weight loss cures diabetes - but I'm not convinced.
Hi @Majii I beleive that as A DIABETIC,
the referral to a class is automatic in UK.
for T2, it's a desmonds course or similar.
for T1, they have there own (bertie ?) as they take insulin so the course i think is more involved.
as t3 (?) on insulin i'd think that course IF none other was available would be appropriate.
Obviously the cancer treatments impact on that, but to my mind THAT makes education even MORE essential not less.
Best wishes for finding a way forward,
do believe @JohnEGreen may be of some use, sure john (forgive if wrong ) is treatment caused T3
If not he may still be able to offer better advice then i, re treatments/courses you should be invited to.

You need to look into type3c diabetes, type 3 is different. Thanks for replying
I agree with not being convinced by weight loss curing type 2
- I was two stone heavier and my Ha1b blood test (is that correct can’t get my head around all new terminologies) was lower than it is now I have lost weight but I still have a stone and a half to loose (it’s so difficult I am medically retired and sit home most days)
Interested to see you and others mention type 3 diabetes will look into that
