Hi,
Diagnosed last August and so far controlling BS with diet and exercise reasonable success. Recently though I've been having trouble stablising BS levels so I'm now wondering whether to try the low-carb route and wondered if anyone here has read "The Low-Starch Diabetes Solution: Six Steps to Optimal Control of Your Adult-Onset (Type 2) Diabetes"?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0071621504
Of the hundreds of books I've looked at (some of which I've bought), I find I'm not that keen on US versions for the simple reason I don't like recipes that use 'cups'! (Silly, I know ..)
I'd appreciate any thoughts you have.
Thanks.
