Just spoke to a friend who says that she has eaten cauliflower toast, which she made by frying slices of cauliflower. Has anyone tried this or made it another way? Thought it could be a great low carb option.

I do occasionally have fried cauliflower but definitely not as toast. In fact cauliflower is the most eaten hot veg in this house.

Is it just slices of cauliflower or is it mixed with something?

She just literally sliced the cauliflower on its own and then fried it, using it as a base for toppings like mashed avocado.

I've just searched online and come across a different way of making it by baking slices of cauliflower in the oven :-

I'd probably tend to bake it, or even put it under the grill, depending on how thickly I sliced the cauliflower.

Thinking about it, the cauli could be a great base for Eggs Not-Quite Benedict, or Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Not-on-Bagels.

Did you see what I did there ;) ?? :D

No never had fried cauliflower but cauliflower cheese...............Mmmmmmmmmmmm

Cauliflower pizza and tortillas and rice ... But not toast.....seems I do everything else.. Will now have to give this a go too!!
