Anyone using Fiasp yet?

I'd be interested to know how you're getting on with this new insulin. I've asked two dsn's about it but neither of them knew anything! I'll have to wait until at least August when I'll see my diabetes consultant. I've been on Humalog for years and I'm doing ok but I like the sound of this quicker acting insulin.
I'm type 1 on MDI, btw.

Also look for ceben80 on Twitter who has been posting pictures of his blood glucose readings with Fiasp. Very interesting stuff. Acts very quickly indeed. I generally don't pre-bolus anymore.
 
I have an appointment next week to start a pump trial with saline so I'm going to ask if we can get me started on Fiasp when I start the pump for real :-)
 
Has anyone been able to get their GP to change their prescription to Fiasp?

I don't have a consultant appointment any time soon and really want to try it!

Some people have been successful with this. It depends on the GP really. For many, it's not yet on the Medicines Management Group list for the local CCG and that process is required to be completed for it to be available.
